Robert F. Smith, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Vista Equity Partners stands with Goalsetter’s Founder and CEO, Tanya Van Court as well as students and staff from the Eagle Academy schools and graduates of the Morehouse College class of 2019. Together, the group rang “The Opening Bell®” at the New York Stock Exchange on November 12, 2021, to celebrate and share the word about Goalsetter’s “One Stock. One Future.” corporate challenge. Van Court and Smith hope to help 1 million Black and Latinx students become shareholders with the innovative saving and investment education app. They also hope to encourage corporations to join the challenge to donate shares of stock to underserved potential young investors. The idea behind Goalsetter is to help students and families learn about economics and investments so they can fully participate in the economy and become the owners, creators and builders their communities need.
