In the United States, people often assume that if you have visible African roots that you are just afroamericano. Unless you look like me, then people assume you’re latino even though you ain’t Hispanic at all. But this perception that Black people in the US are only African American contributes to why people are shook when a Black American can speak a second language, especially since so few African Americans speak a second language.
So, there are a bunch of Black celebrities that most people don’t realize are Afro-Latinos. And I’m gonna tell you about 20 famous Black musicians who you most definitely know but may not know are Afro-latino.
